About the Event

VW Singers under Ian Assersohn present an evening of georgeous a cappella music in the magnificent surroundings of St Gabriel's Pimlico.

The uplifting programme focuses on the idea of hope in the darkest times of life. The central piece is Kim André Arnesen's Even When He Is Silent, composed in 2011 to a text written by an anonymous prisoner in Cologne, Germany, during WWII.Along with many other beautiful songs the concert also features Ola Gjeilo's The Spheres, and Jake Runestad's Let My Love Be Heard, which became famous when it was recorded by the students of Cal State Long Beach in memory of a fellow student killed in terrorist attacks in Paris.

This event is part of the Brandenburg Choral Festival of London. Tickets will be on sale soon.
