In the glorious acoustic of the newly refurbished Parish Church of St Mary and St Nicholas, VW Singers presents an evening of sumptuous choral music from around the world to help raise funds for the church. We range from the ethereal beauty of the Latvian composer Ēriks Ešenvalds' Stars to the infectious rhythms of Colombia in La Llorona. There will be some brand new carols and, to mark the Singers' first public performance since lockdown, the evening includes a performance of the moving and uplifting post-lockdown piece After by our musical director Ian Assersohn. And much more. Refreshments will be available in the interval.
